Questions we hear most often.

Do I need to have data ready before booking?

Not at all. Many clients book a Discovery Call before they've even started sequencing — to get guidance on study design, sample requirements, or platform selection. The earlier the better, honestly.

What data types and organisms do you work with?

Any organism, any sequencing platform. We work with human, mouse, plant, microbial, and environmental samples across Illumina, Nanopore, PacBio, and 10x Genomics data. If you're not sure whether your data fits, just ask in the booking notes.

Is the first session really free? What's the catch?

Yes, genuinely free — no credit card required. We offer free Discovery Calls because we've found that a 30-minute conversation saves everyone time. We get to understand your project properly, and you get useful guidance before committing to anything.

Can I share my screen or upload files during the call?

Yes. Strategy and Deep Dive sessions are screen-share sessions by design — we'll look at your QC reports, figures, or scripts together in real time. You can also send files ahead of the call via a secure upload link we'll provide in the confirmation email.

What if I need help with a non-standard analysis?

That's exactly what consultations are for. If you have a multi-omic study, a novel organism, or an unusual experimental design that doesn't fit standard pipelines, a Strategy or Deep Dive session is the place to work through it. If your project needs a fully custom pipeline, we can scope that too.

Do you offer ongoing support after the session?

Strategy session clients get a 30-day email follow-up window for quick questions. Deep Dive clients have email access throughout the engagement and a final review session. For longer-term support, ask us about retainer arrangements during your session.
