Answers to the most common questions about our pipelines, data handling, and custom work.
We work with a wide range of sequencing data types from all major platforms, including Illumina, Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT), and PacBio. We accept all common file formats — FASTQ, BAM, VCF, BED, POD5, and FAST5. If you have a different format or a custom data type, contact us to discuss your needs.
We prioritize the security of your data. We'll provide a secure, encrypted link for you to upload your files. This method ensures your data remains protected from the moment it leaves your machine until it reaches our analysis environment. You'll receive clear instructions on how to use our secure data portal after your project is confirmed.
We take data security and confidentiality very seriously. All data is transferred and stored using robust encryption protocols. We adhere to strict data access policies, and your data is only used for the purposes of your analysis. We can also set up a custom data deletion timeline if you require it for compliance or privacy reasons.
You, the client, retain full ownership of your raw data and all of the analysis results we provide. We do not claim any intellectual property rights to your data or the insights derived from it. Our role is solely to process your data and deliver the final analysis to you.
No, you don't. We designed our pipelines to be accessible to a wide range of users — from research scientists to students and lab technicians. Our goal is to provide expert analysis with easy-to-understand reports. If you need help interpreting your results, we offer consultation services to walk you through the data and its biological meaning.
Once your analysis is complete, we'll provide a secure, password-protected link for you to download all of your results, including raw output files, summary reports, and visualization-ready data. We'll notify you via email as soon as your results are ready for access.
Turnaround time depends on the complexity of your project and the size of your data. Our standard pipelines typically have a turnaround time of 3–7 business days. We will provide a more precise timeline for custom projects after the initial consultation and data submission.
Our pipelines are proprietary and are not available for public distribution. If details concerning analytical testing or data processing are required for publication, some details regarding general pipeline implementations may be requested upon discussion.
The best way to get a quote is to use our contact form. We'll gather necessary details via email and supplement with live discussion as needed. Please be ready to discuss the scope of your project, including the data type, number of samples, and specific analysis goals. We'll then provide a clear, detailed quote based on the project's complexity and estimated timeline.
'Custom work' covers any analysis or project that falls outside of our standard, fixed-price pipelines. This can include developing new analysis pipelines, integrating multiple data types (e.g., genomic and clinical data), performing specialized statistical analyses, or troubleshooting existing datasets — whatever your project demands.
Pricing for custom work is determined based on the complexity of the analysis, the volume of data, and the estimated time required to complete the project. We provide a detailed quote and a clear statement of work for all custom projects, ensuring complete transparency before any work begins.
No. When a pipeline specifies that it requires "Aligned Input Data," the cost assumes you will provide the data in an aligned format (e.g., a BAM file). If your data is raw (e.g., FASTQ), an additional charge will be added to ensure all data is ready for the pipeline. This fee will be less than the cost of our standalone "Data Pre-processing" pipeline and is dependent upon the amount of data needing alignment.
If you encounter an issue or have a question about your results, please contact us. We'll work with you to understand and resolve the problem. While we don't offer refunds for services rendered, we are committed to ensuring the deliverables meet the contractual expectations outlined in your Statement of Work.
We provide a standard follow-up period to answer any questions you have about the results. For ongoing needs or additional analyses, we offer paid consultations and extended support packages. This ensures you can continue to get expert guidance whenever you need it.
We are open to collaboration. If you have specific in-house pipelines, algorithms, or tools you'd like us to integrate into a project, we can explore that as part of a custom consultation. We'll work with you to ensure a seamless workflow.
